POSITION SUMMARY:
We currently have openings in the operations department for the following positions: (Shifts hours are from 5 pm -5 am)
GBW Operator-Galvanizing before weaving
• Move materials through the process tanks and zinc kettles
• Align and secure holding fixtures, attachments, accessories, or materials on machines
• Transfer metal into a furnace
• Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using
precision instruments, such as micrometers
• Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process
• Maintain the surrounding area, keeping the area free of debris
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
  • Follow established safety procedures when performing tasks and/or working with equipment.
  • Read work instructions and set up machines as required to run different product sizes.
  • Stand or walk for the entire shift and use arms and back to perform the tasks associated with the role.
  • Must be able to work overtime as required with Saturday availability.

Requirements
NECESSARY SKILLS, BACKGROUND & COMPETENCIES:
  • Minimum one year of work experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Must be able to work in a team-based, positive, fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to understand written instructions and follow procedures.
  • Must be able and willing to work 5 PM-5 AM MON-SAT. Employees average at least 40 hours a week, no more than 50.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
