Job description

Screen Print Production Associate - 2nd Shift
PepWear, based in Cedar Hill, Texas, is a leading, growing company producing and selling screen-printed and embroidered apparel and commemorative plaques at school events and to school groups across the country. With a focus on service, integrity, and learning, our Team makes the difference!
We are seeking detail-oriented individuals who want to join our Screen Print Department Team. This is an entry-level position with ample opportunity to grow and learn new skills in this department and in other PepWear departments.
Candidates must be comfortable working with quick turnarounds in a detail-oriented work environment. The ability to learn quickly and be willing to take on new challenges is a must. Experience in the printing industry or another fast-paced business is a big plus. He/She will report to the Screen Printing Floor Manager.
Job Duties:
  • Heat Press Production Associate sets up and operates heat press machinery to apply graphics, logos, and designs onto garments or other merchandise.
  • Puller’s responsibilities include pulling screen-printed apparel off screen-print presses and loading them onto the dryer
  • Catcher’s responsibilities will include receiving screen-printed apparel at the end of the dryer and keeping apparel organized and counted
  • Screen Room Operator’s responsibilities will include the complete process of coating screens, printing screens, exposing screens, and washing screens
  • Screen Cleaner’s responsibilities will include removing tape and power washing screens free of ink or debris
  • Other duties as needed in other production departments
Job Skills amp; Qualifications
Required:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to details
  • Candidate will have a keen eye for quality control and communicate concerns
  • Ability to follow directions and processes
  • Physically able to stand for long hours if needed and lift 30 pounds repeatedly
  • Must be able to read and comprehend job specifications to verify quality
  • Must be able to count and do simple math to track order quantities
  • Be a team player willing to help when and wherever needed
Preferred:
  • Experience in the printing industry: Heat press, screen printing, embroidery, wide format, or paper
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and file management
Other Information
  • Regular work hours are 2:45 pm - 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday
  • Some extended hours or weekends may be necessary during peak seasons
  • Screen Printing Room does have heat exposure and wet environments
  • Personal Safety Equipment is provided and required in Screen Printing Areas
  • A Criminal Background Check is required
  • Full-time, and seasonal positions are available
