Position: Embroidery Digitizer

Department: Embroidery

Reports To: Director of Embroidery

Employment Type: Full-Time / Non-Exempt / On-Site

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Embroidery Digitizer to convert artwork and logos into high-quality stitch files for embroidery production. This role is critical in ensuring designs translate accurately onto various materials while maintaining brand integrity and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Editing digitized logos, artwork, and designs for embroidery using industry-standard software

  • Optimize stitch types, densities, and paths for different fabrics and products (e.g., hats, apparel, accessories)

  • Editing and export files compatible with embroidery machines (DST, PES, etc.)

  • Review artwork and make necessary adjustments to ensure clean, production-ready results

  • Collaborate with design and production teams to meet quality standards and deadlines

  • Troubleshoot and refine files based on machine performance and sample outputs

  • Maintain organized file systems and version control for digitized assets

  • Ensure consistency with brand guidelines and customer specifications

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of embroidery digitizing experience

  • Proficiency in digitizing software (e.g., Wilcom)

  • Strong understanding of stitch types, underlay, density, pull compensation, and sequencing

  • Knowledge of embroidery production processes and machine capabilities
