Job Title: Electrical Engineer I
Location: Green Cove Springs, FL

Reports To: Engineering Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our team at Vac-Con. This role involves the design, development, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and components used in high-performance sewer cleaning and hydro-excavation machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to work in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical systems for sewer cleaning equipment, including control panels, wiring harnesses, and embedded systems.
Collaborate with mechanical and design engineers to integrate electrical components into complex machinery.
Create and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
Support manufacturing and field service teams with technical expertise and training.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., NEC, UL, CE).
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and product development cycles.
