You use your knowledge to write and optimize code that creates a bridge between pieces of sof tware, allowing them to communicate. We're looking for an embedded systems engineer like you to develop technology for our clients' most important mission-forward challenges. As an embedded systems engineer at Booz Allen, you'll support the develop ment of systems, sites, and tools for our clients. Using the latest tools and technology, you'll write, test, and edit code in support of the team's overall results. You'll strengthen your skills as you develop and reverse engineer sof tware that supports hardware functionality on a wide range of devices, as well as configure solutions based on the platform being used. You'll partner with team leadership to troubleshoot and correct operational issues, as well as with cybersecurity spe cia lists to ensure that the sof tware you're creating is secure. * Experience with programming languages, such as C or C++ and Python
* Experience with Raspberry Pi or IoT device
* Experience with low-level develop ment, including interrupt handlers, device drivers, controlling peripherals, or reading and writing Flash memory
* Experience conducting basic and applied research and learning new technologies
* Experience troubleshooting systems
* Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and to analyze client requirements and translate those tasks into deliverables with little to no supervision
* Ability to obtain a Secret clearance * Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: * 5+ years of experience working across varying computer architecture and operating systems
* Experience with digital and analog control systems, power electronics, electromagnetic interference ( EMI ) techniques, and radio frequency ( RF ) * Experience with signal generation, high-powered RF systems, signal processing, bench and system level testing of electronics components, and RF system and platform integration
* Experience with radio frequency testing and evaluation
* Experience with Docker containers, including in CI / CD pipelines

The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
