They are seeking an Senior Embedded Software Engineer to lead the development of diagnostic solutions across embedded, PC, and mobile platforms within the heavy-duty vehicle sector. This role requires a strong technical background in embedded software, vehicle communications, and system integration, paired with the ability to provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams.

In this role, you will help define system architecture, solve complex integration challenges, and deliver secure, high-quality products that meet evolving customer and industry standards.

  • Software Development: Proficiency in object-oriented development (preferably C++), multithreaded design, and PC platform API/communication driver development (using C, C++, or .NET).
  • Vehicle Protocols: Strong technical understanding of vehicle communication protocols, including CAN, CAN FD, ISO 15765-2, UDS, J1939, and DoIP.
  • Drivers & Integration: Experience with low-level PC drivers (e.g., USB, NDIS) and third-party SDK integration.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Nice-to-haves that will set you apart:

  • Firmware & Hardware: Firmware development for vehicle communication interface devices (microcontrollers, CAN transceivers, UARTs, USB peripherals, ideally on NXP platforms) and hands-on embedded/IoT debugging.
  • Cross-Platform: Familiarity with PC and mobile (Android/iOS) applications integrating third-party APIs and communication layers.
  • Wireless & Containerization: Experience with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth (Classic SPP / BLE), and containerized embedded applications (Docker, Podman).
