Job description

  • Under guidance, assists with developing and implementing data acquisition code for established sensor systems to collect, automatically label, and transmit data over a network.
  • Assists with developing and testing hardware improvements for existing systems.
  • Assists with debugging embedded Linux drivers and interface software for instrument protocols.
  • Helps develop and test simulation software and create tools to analyze and visualize data.

Knowledge,Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Knowledge of FPGA development (Xilinx Zynq, Verilog/Vivado).
  • Knowledge of low-level embedded Linux, including kernel configuration, cross-compilation, U-Boot, and root file system basics.
  • Knowledge of device trees and the integration of ADC data interfaces (LVDS/SPI).
  • Working knowledge of C for embedded Linux development.
  • Ability to work with the Analog Devices reference HDL flow.
