Job description

Position: Embedded Engineer

Location: Atlanta, GA

Contract position

Job Description:

  • Strong experience in Embedded C/C++ development on microcontrollers (Bare-metal/RTOS).
  • Expertise in hardware interfacing: Sensors, Motors, Valves, ADC/DAC, PWM.
  • Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux (Yocto), system integration, and boot processes.
  • Proficient in communication protocols: UART, I2C, SPI, RS-485, SMBus.
  • Good understanding of real-time systems, PID control, and feedback loop design.
  • Experience with firmware architecture, bootloaders, and OTA/firmware upgrades.
  • Strong debugging skills across MCU firmware, Linux applications, diagnostics, and fault handling.
  • Knowledge of Linux security, Docker/containerization, and system-level integration is desirable.
  • Exposure to IEC 62304 and other medical device software standards preferred.
  • Prior experience in medical device product development.
  • Ability to integrate .NET applications with firmware and hardware components.
