Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced C# Embedded Application Lead/Architect to drive the design, development, and system integration of complex embedded Linux systems for medical domain applications. In this role, you will lead cross-functional technical discussions, architect C#-based embedded applications, and bridge the gap between firmware, embedded Linux, and cloud ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architecture & Design: Architect, design, and develop high-performing embedded applications using C# on Embedded Linux platforms.

  • System Integration: Lead end-to-end (E2E) system integration and testing, connecting C# applications with MCU firmware, underlying hardware, and cloud backend systems.

  • Code Analysis & Evolution: Analyze complex existing legacy codebase to inform and drive the architecture of next-generation systems.

  • Technical Leadership: Lead technical discussions with cross-functional engineering teams, guiding architecture, design decisions, and onsite-offshore team coordination.

  • Debugging & Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level issues across firmware and Linux application layers, including fault handling and system diagnostics.

Qualifications & Key Skills
  • Core Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in Embedded/Linux application development using C#.

  • Embedded Linux: Practical experience with embedded Linux environments (e.g., Yocto) and system integration.

  • Hardware & Firmware Interfacing: Deep understanding of firmware and hardware integration; knowledge of C/C++ for firmware integration is a strong plus.

  • Domain Experience: Experience in medical device/domain projects and familiarity with medical software standards (e.g., IEC 62304) is highly preferred.

  • Cloud Integration: Proven experience integrating embedded systems with cloud platforms.

  • Leadership: Proven track record leading software development teams and coordinating between onsite and offshore engineering teams.
