An Embedded Field Application Engineer (FAE) is a technical professional who supports customers in implementing and optimizing embedded systems, such as microcontrollers, processors, and related hardware and software. They act as a bridge between a company’s engineering teams and its customers, providing technical guidance, troubleshooting, and product demonstrations. FAEs often travel to customer sites to help with system integration, resolve technical issues, and ensure successful deployment of embedded solutions. Their expertise spans both hardware and software, making them valuable advisors during the design and development process.
