Location: Palo Alto, CA
TI DSP expertise to own real-time subsystem bring up, audio pipeline enablement, and safety subsystem integration for the Mediatek C-X1 infotainment dev kit platform.
Responsibilities
• Lead bring up and integration of the DSP subsystem and safety processor on the infotainment dev kit platform
• Own real-time audio pipeline: codec integration, audio HAL, latency characterization and validation
• Integrate and validate safety subsystem: lockstep cores, safety monitors, FTTI analysis
• Serve as primary technical interface with DSP firmware, tools, and support
• Validate real-time performance and audio quality against Ok2Book acceptance criteria
• Document DSP and audio subsystem bring-up state for program gate review
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
• 5+ years' embedded SW; 5+ years focused on TI DSP platforms (C7xxx, C66x, or equivalent)
• Strong RTOS expertise: TI SYS/BIOS, FreeRTOS, or equivalent real-time OS
• Audio subsystem bring up: ALSA, audio HAL, codec integration (I2S, SoundWire)
• Safety subsystem experience: lockstep, self-test libraries, FTTI modeling
• C/C++ (bare-metal and RTOS), TI Code Composer Studio toolchain
• Hardware debug: oscilloscope, logic analyzer, JTAG
Preferred Qualifications
• Automotive domain experience (ADAS audio or infotainment)
• ISO 26262 / ASIL-B or higher safety development
• Experience with heterogeneous SoC platforms (main CPU + DSP co-processor)
• TI Jacinto or TDA4x automotive SoC familiarity
Salary Range
• $130,000 - 140,000
