Job description

Do you like tingling the palate with tasty cocktails? Do you enjoy a good debate about “shaken vs. stirred?” Do you feel the Force calling you? Then we have the right position for you!

Santikos is looking for Bartenders to provide our guests with exceptional service at our Embassy location.

What would I be doing in this position?

  • Possess full knowledge of and adhere to Santikos’ Alcohol Service Policy and procedures. (We all have to know and follow the fine print. Super important!)
  • Verify guests are of legal drinking age to order alcoholic beverages. (We would get in big trouble if we don’t. Not kidding! Super important as well.)
  • Accurately take and prepare guest orders.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels in the bar area. (The good times need to last…)
  • Conduct inventory of bar related items.
  • Keep area clean and sanitized. (No one wants to drink or work in a dirty place.)

What education or experience do I need to have to qualify?

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced bar/restaurant or professional training
  • A current TABC license preferred - but we can help provide the certification if you aren’t certified yet

What skills, abilities, and knowledge do I need to be successful in this position?

  • Be friendly and outgoing
  • Flexibility with scheduling – able to work holidays, nights, and weekends
  • Great can-do attitude and willingness to work
  • Ability to work in and collaborate with a team
  • Dependable with attendance – your team and our guests need you!
