 Position Summary

The hotel security guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, visitors, and hotel property. This role involves monitoring the premises, responding to emergencies, preventing unauthorized access, and maintaining a secure and welcoming environment while providing excellent customer service.

 Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol hotel buildings, parking areas, and surrounding property on foot.

  • Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances, accidents, and security incidents.

  • Assist guests and staff with safety concerns and provide directions or information when needed.

  • Control access to restricted areas and verify visitor credentials.

  • Investigate suspicious activities and report incidents accurately and promptly.

  • Complete detailed daily activity logs and incident reports.

  • Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency responders when necessary.

  • Conduct routine inspections to identify safety hazards and ensure compliance with hotel policies.

  • Assist during fire alarms, evacuations, medical emergencies, and other crisis situations.

  • Enforce hotel rules and policies while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
