As a Room Attendant, you're not just ensuring the cleanliness of guest rooms - you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
The Team at the Embassy Suites Hotel Santa Clara Silicon Valley is currently seeking their next Room Attendant to join the housekeeping team.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including, weekends, and holidays.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and proficiently with English-speaking guests.
  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience.

Responsibilities
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
  • Keep guest rooms spotless: Clean and tidy assigned rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and performing deep cleaning tasks as needed
  • Replenish linens and amenities: Replace bed linens, towels, and guest essentials as needed
  • Manage supplies: Stock, maintain, and transport the housekeeping supply cart daily
  • Delight our guests: Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously
  • Manage waste disposal: Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas

Qualifications
What It Takes to Make the Stay
  • 1 Year of Housekeeping experience in hospitality, hospital, and/or residential/commercial buildings.
  • Must be a team player but able to work independently.
  • Able to stand for 8 hours.
  • Able to work on weekends and holidays.
