Education, Experience and Skill Requirements
• High school diploma or GED.
• General office skills with previous customer service experience.
• Data entry experience required.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of legal documents.
• Ability to work in a team setting with a positive attitude.
• Ability to handle high pressured, fast paced, and stressful situations.
• Intermediate computer and application skills.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must have the ability to work in person, not remote.

Primary Job Duties
• Process high volume of legal documents.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional communication in all formats.
• Accurate and efficient cashiering duties, including payment processing for family, civil, and felony criminal cases.
• Efficiently assist and support office operations.
• General clerical duties.
• Accurately enter case information and image documents into case management system.
• Process requests for service instruments.
• Handling of sensitive and confidential information.
• Data entry and retrieval.
• Willingness to cross train and accept any additional duties as assigned or required by a supervisor.
After receiving a conditional offer of employment, applicant must pass a drug screen (1/2 cost = $20.00, responsibility of applicant) and may need a physical agility test (1/2 cost = $22.50, responsibility of applicant) before becoming an employee of Montgomery County.
