Job description

Requirements:

  • Lead the migration from on-premises IronPort email security appliances to a Proofpoint cloud-based email security solution, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption to email services.
  • Expert-level experience designing, configuring, and maintaining Proofpoint as an enterprise email security service.
  • Strong experience configuring Proofpoint firewall rules and maintaining block lists/allow lists.
  • Experience responding to requests to quarantine, release, or manage email messages.
  • Deep understanding of MTA (Mail Transfer Agent) concepts and Proofpoint Messaging Security Gateway (PSMG) 8.x.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux Server environments.
  • Experience working with VMware and virtualized infrastructure.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in enterprise email security environments.
  • Ability to coordinate migration activities, resolve issues, and minimize impact to business email services.
