Manages and performs professional work coordinating various programs supporting County operations. Essential Functions Manages operational programs in support of Division or Department objectives; participates in the planning, development, and coordination of opioid programs and/or special events. Responsible for the implementation of the Countywide data collaborative for opioid.

In the case that supervisory functions are assigned: Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff, processing employee concerns and problems, directing work, counseling, disciplining, and completing employee performance appraisals. Carries out implementation of program goals and objectives, recommends improvements to business processes and supporting systems; identifies and addresses compliance issues, streamlines and improves processes and communications with stakeholders, ensures adherence to project/program plans and timelines, identifies constraints or challenges Manages the promotion, explanation and interpretation of public outreach objectives, benefits and programs; develops and establishes appropriate communications and manages a proactive approach to information dissemination to County staff and/or the public. Manages the activities of assigned support, administrative and office functions; reviews and processes a variety of internal and external reports, forms, invoices, contracts and related documents.

Prepares related statistical summaries and narrative reports. Receives and responds to requests, inquiries and complaints from the public, other jurisdictions and other County Divisions, Departments and sections; prepares and proofreads correspondence for format, accuracy and completeness; coordinates activities with and provides information to outside contractors and service providers. Summarizes and assembles reports and information, trend analysis and prepares information releases; develops, plans, and drafts various department documents, reports, projects related material.

Performs a variety of administrative duties for the program. Manges the preparation of program budget development documents, tracks expenditures and revenues. Assesses potential site locations for special events, recreational activities and determines potential use.

As assigned to Marketing and Events: Coordinates and facilitates all promotions, planning and management of County-wide sales, special events, public transit and/or sports events. Develops marketing, monitors and evaluates programs, sales and special events with appropriate budgets. Promotes and advertises County-wide special events.

Communicates with agencies/businesses verbally and in written form to solicit sales and/or promote transit; Prepares sales contracts for advertising sold for placement on County property (interior bus ads, wrap around ads, transfer stations, etc.) and charges the appropriate fee associated with the sale; coordinates the installation of advertisement on buses and in transfer stations. Coordinates and administers event contracts; monitors and follows-up on sales leads that can result in increased business for Collier County Parks, Tourism or increased ridership and revenue for Collier Area Transit system. Initiates sales contacts by phone, mail, email and in person to qualify and establish relationships with prospective events clients

Schedules and attends marketing conferences and trade shows, industry functions and other events as directed; may involve travel on periodic basis to accomplish the required functions of this position. Maintains website and creates additional features on website. Coordinate marketing presentations, site inspections, and sales blitzes to showcase Collier County in key tourism and/or Transit markets.

Coordinate maintenance of marketing tools inventories including collateral and promotional items. Designs and prepares divisional informational flyers. Assist with grant coordination functions and reporting requirements.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Two (2) years of related experience. Candidates without a degree should possess four (4) additional years of related experience.

Fingerprinting required. If assigned to Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP): Additional background screenings related to federal grant requirements are required. Supplemental information Salary offers above the minimum pay grade may be considered based on qualifications.

Essential Employees may be required to work during an undeclared or declared emergency. The County's Administrative Office will determine who will be required to work on an incident-by-incident basis.
