Job description

Description:

About Us

Canopy Management Group is an accredited Association Management Company (AMC) based in Springfield, MA. We partner with associations, nonprofits, professional societies, and member organizations to provide customized operational and strategic support that helps industries and communities thrive.

Our work is relationship-driven, collaborative, and intentionally personalized. We support organizations across a wide range of industries by helping strengthen member engagement, leadership development, education, events, communications, and operations.

At Canopy, we believe strong communities create stronger organizations and industries. We build long-term partnerships with the clients we serve and work closely with leadership, volunteers, and members to create meaningful impact.

We’re a collaborative team that values curiosity, accountability, quality, continuous growth, and community-building. Every team member contributes to the relationships and support structures that help our clients succeed.

What You’ll Do as Marketing Coordinator

As Marketing Coordinator, you’ll help bring marketing strategies to life for a portfolio of association clients. Working closely with Marketing Leads and other members of the Marketing team, you’ll execute marketing campaigns across email, social media, websites, print, events, and digital channels while ensuring projects are completed accurately, on time and aligned with each client’s goals and brand standards.

No two days look the same. One day you may be creating an email campaign, creating social media content, or updating a client website. The next, you could be designing event materials, coordinating sponsorship deliverables, managing project timelines, preparing conference marketing assets, or collaborating with teammates to support a client initiative. You’ll balance creativity, organization, and attention to detail while managing multiple projects and helping deliver high-quality marketing experiences for a diverse group of clients.

Who Is the Perfect Candidate for This Role?

You’re a creative problem solver who enjoys turning ideas into polished marketing campaigns. You have an eye for design, strong organizational skills, and enough writing ability to create engaging social media content, short marketing copy, and other day-to-day communications.

You enjoy managing multiple projects at once and don’t mind shifting between industries, brands, and audiences throughout the day. You’re equally comfortable creating graphics, updating websites, organizing campaign timelines, and collaborating with teammates to keep projects moving forward.

You’re naturally curious, eager to learn, and excited to develop new marketing skills. You appreciate feedback, enjoy collaborating with others, and take pride in producing work that is both creative and accurate. Most importantly, you enjoy relationship-driven work and want to be part of a team that values collaboration, continuous improvement, and meaningful partnership.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly, clients span a wide range of industries, and no two days look the same. You enjoy balancing creativity with organization while helping teammates and clients succeed. Adaptability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are essential. At Canopy, we foster a no-blame culture focused on learning, continuous improvement, and support. Even while working remotely, we’re deeply committed to collaboration and living our core values every day.

Responsibilities

  • Execute marketing campaigns across digital, print, email, social media, websites, and other marketing channels for an assigned portfolio of clients.
  • Design and produce marketing materials including brochures, conference programs, flyers, advertisements, presentations, signage, digital graphics, and other branded collateral.

  • Create and schedule social media content while maintaining each client’s unique voice and brand standards.
  • Build and distribute email marketing campaigns using marketing automation and email platforms.
  • Update and maintain client and company websites, ensuring content is accurate, current, and user-friendly.
  • Coordinate marketing projects from concept through completion, managing timelines, deliverables, and project details while communicating progress to teammates.
  • Collaborate with the internal client services team, vendors, and partners to ensure marketing projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Prepare conference marketing materials, promotional assets, sponsorship deliverables, and event collateral.
  • Support the collection and reporting of marketing metrics, helping identify opportunities to improve campaign performance.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials and communications.
  • Stay current on marketing trends, design best practices, and emerging tools to continually strengthen marketing execution.
  • Serve as a collaborative team member who is willing to jump in wherever needed to support clients and teammates.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $50,000-60,000 annual salary
  • Comprehensive medical insurance through Health New England (we cover 80%)
  • Employer-funded Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA)
  • Dental & vision insurance

  • Paid vacation, sick, holidays, plus summer Half-Fridays, and volunteer time off
  • Company-sponsored donation matching program (up to $250 annually) to support the causes you care about
  • Enjoy a well-stocked office kitchen (coffee, espresso, snacks), and occasional team lunches and fun events

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

  • We partner with organizations that strengthen industries, leadership, and communities.
  • You’ll contribute to a wide variety of communications, engagement, and event initiatives across multiple clients.
  • We value collaboration, accountability, curiosity, and continuous learning.
