What is an email developer?

An Email Developer is a specialized professional who designs, codes, tests, and optimizes email campaigns and newsletters for marketing or communication purposes. These skills are essential for creating engaging, functional, and accessible email campaigns that drive business results and user engagement.

What does an email developer do?

An email developer designs and builds email blasts for clients and marketing teams. In this career, your duties primarily revolve around creating templates in HTML. When coding the email, you have to account for a variety of different browsers, text options, and email clients, which makes it a very different task than coding a web page. Furthermore, you need to be aware of the limits of the email service provider your organization is using, and you must stay up-to-date with any new regulations regarding spam and industry standards regarding HTML.
