Job description

BillGO is seeking a Growth Marketing Manager to execute paid and lifecycle marketing programs across the BillGO Exchange. This role will focus on standing up and continuously optimizing paid acquisition campaigns and lifecycle messaging, helping convert prospects into enrolled, engaged customers. You'll partner closely with our Business Analyst, Data team, and report to the VP of Growth Marketing to keep messaging and paid campaigns running smoothly and continuously optimized.
Why This Role Matters
This role powers the engine that's critical to BillGO's growth: making sure new customers connect with BillGO and learn its benefits, while current customers stay effectively engaged across the lifecycle. By executing paid and lifecycle campaigns that work in lockstep, this role directly impacts how effectively we attract, convert, and retain customers. Without this role, paid campaigns and lifecycle messaging risk running inconsistently or falling behind as we scale; with it, BillGO gains one person driving day-to-day execution and optimization across both, so tests move faster and messaging reliably reaches the customer on brand and on time.
What You'll Do
Paid Channel Execution
  • Stand up, launch, and continuously optimize paid acquisition campaigns (search, social, display) supporting our direct marketing tests.
  • Manage budget pacing, targeting, and landing page performance.
  • Partner with the Business Analyst and Data team to translate test results into channel and audience decisions.

Lifecycle Messaging Management
  • Own execution across the prospect, enrollment, and active-customer lifecycle: every intended message sent, delivered, and rendered correctly on every platform we use to reach customers.
  • Keep campaigns and lead data flowing cleanly through HubSpot and Salesforce.
  • Manage deliverability and sender reputation (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, list hygiene, bounce/spam monitoring) so payment-critical messages reliably reach the inbox.

Brand & Content QA
  • Make sure existing branded templates and campaign creative from partner or agency teams render correctly and stay on-brand across the lifecycle.
  • Serve as the checkpoint for brand and message consistency, not the primary copywriter.

Martech & Targeting
  • Work with the Business Analyst and Data team to make sure our martech stack delivers the right message to the right customer.
  • Ensure the right customer data flows to our ad platforms for targeting. Reporting pipelines and dashboards are owned by Data/the Business Analyst; this role executes against them.

AI Agents & Automation
  • Build working agents for deliverability monitoring, pre-send brand/content QA, and performance reporting.
  • Review and approve agent-drafted tests, direct what agents build next, and monitor results against set thresholds as our agent pipeline matures.

Experimentation & Optimization
  • Continuously test channels, audiences, creative variants, subject lines, timing, and sequencing.
  • Turn what works into always-on optimization rather than one-off tests, partnering with the analytics team on the underlying analysis.
  • Take a data-driven approach to execution, optimizing decisions against CAC and improving LTV rather than surface-level engagement metrics.
  • Merge channel performance data with internal customer data to effectively test and answer hypotheses about what drives acquisition and engagement.
  • Factor predictive data into targeting and optimization decisions, not just historical performance.

How We'll Measure Success
This role ladders directly to two company priorities:
  • Grow new customer acquisition by making paid and direct campaigns perform, and by making sure the messages that drive enrollment and payments reliably reach customers.
  • Deliver a best-in-class customer experience through unified, trustworthy, on-brand messaging and campaigns across the entire lifecycle.

Early success looks like: paid campaigns live and optimizing against CAC and volume targets, reliable delivery of payment-critical messages, one consistent brand experience across all platforms, and at least one production AI agent doing work that used to be manual. As programs mature, we'll track contributions to LTV and revenue alongside acquisition volume.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years in growth marketing, marketing operations, or paid/lifecycle campaign execution, ideally in fintech, payments, or B2B SaaS.
  • Hands-on experience launching and optimizing paid campaigns (search, social, or display), including budget pacing and targeting.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot and Salesforce, with the ability to make multiple systems work as one.
  • Working knowledge of email deliverability fundamentals (SPF/DKIM/DMARC, list hygiene).
  • Demonstrated AI fluency: you've used AI tools or agents to automate real work (prompt design, lightweight agentic workflows), and you're eager to build more as our tooling matures.
  • A data-driven approach: comfortable reading performance data across systems and letting it guide day-to-day optimization decisions, in partnership with the Business Analyst and Data team.
  • A sharp editorial eye: strong judgment for brand and message consistency, comfortable flagging what's off before a customer ever sees it.
  • A strong collaborator: you work well across Marketing, Data, Creative and Engineering, take ownership of your execution, and partner closely with the VP of Growth Marketing, who supports day-to-day prioritization and cross-team alignment.

Preferred
  • Experience with landing page or website conversion optimization.
  • Experience with test-and-learn or process engineering frameworks.

Compensation
We offer a competitive total compensation package, including:
  • Base salary ($102,000 - $146,900)
  • Performance incentive (10%)
  • Equity opportunity (8,000 stock options)
  • Comprehensive health, retirement, and lifestyle benefits
