Job description

Seeking candidates with experience supporting product compliance, quality systems, regulatory documentation, engineering change processes, product validation, certification management, environmental compliance, or manufacturing compliance programs. Experience with IMDS, REACH, RoHS, ELV, PPAP, supplier compliance, quality audits, or product data management is highly preferred!

This is a single, integrated role that combines:
  • Product Stewardship (monitoring regulations and guiding compliance strategy)
  • Product Validation (ensuring documentation, certifications, and data are complete prior to release)
You will play a key role in ensuring products meet regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements while also maintaining the systems and documentation that support compliant product launches.

Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Monitoring & Product Stewardship
  • Monitor and evaluate new and evolving regulations impacting products, substances, and market access
  • Assess regulatory impact and support compliance planning and implementation
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address compliance risks
  • Assist with regulatory submissions, product reviews, and responses to customer or business inquiries
  • Maintain compliance calendars, standards, and supporting documentation
Product Validation & Compliance Documentation
  • Review products for certification, hazardous materials, and regulatory requirements prior to release
  • Manage and maintain compliance documentation (e.g., IMDS, country of origin, product certifications)
  • Support new parts introduction by assigning regulatory classifications and validating readiness for sale
  • Maintain data systems, SharePoint libraries, compliance records, and KPI reporting
  • Perform audits and ensure accuracy of documentation in collaboration with suppliers, customs, and engineering
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Engineering, Suppliers, Customs, and internal business teams
  • Support alignment across compliance, product development, and release processes
  • Help ensure consistent, accurate communication of compliance requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Law, Basic Sciences, or related field
  • Experience in product stewardship, regulatory compliance, product validation, or related area
  • Working knowledge of regulatory monitoring and compliance programs
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint
Preferred Experience
  • Automotive or manufacturing environment
  • Experience with IMDS, product compliance documentation, or regulatory reporting
  • Familiarity with environmental, chemical, or product safety regulations
