Job description

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai through its affiliation with New York City Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiologist.

Elmhurst Hospital Center is a 545-bed tertiary care facility and an ACS-verified level 1 trauma center in the ethnically diverse borough of Queens, NY.Our interventional service is powered by state-of-the-art imaging technology and cutting-edge equipment, highlighted by a brand-new Siemens biplane interventional suite supporting our comprehensive neurovascular and stroke initiatives, alongside 4 advanced CT scanners and high-field MRI.

To optimize workflow, procedure throughput, and clinical efficiency, the IR service is supported by a dedicated team of 4 Physician Assistants who assist with pre-procedural evaluations, procedural workflows, inpatient consults, and post-procedure patient management. This position offers an exceptional environment featuring low department turnover, manageable call expectations, robust clinical support, and long-term practice stability.
