This role is performed onsite in a dynamic outpatient office setting. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team that includes chiropractors, physical therapists, and wellness advocates. As an Acupuncturist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough patient examinations to assess various health conditions and formulate effective acupuncture treatment plans.
• Administering acupuncture treatments to relieve pain, improve circulation, and promote overall wellness, while tailoring these treatments based on individual patient needs.
• Utilizing additional techniques such as cupping, electro-acupuncture, and trigger point acupuncture/dry needling to enhance treatment efficacy where appropriate.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals at the center to create an integrated care plan that considers the diverse needs of each patient.
• Engaging in mentoring and educational initiatives for staff and the local community to increase awareness of acupuncture benefits.
• Clearly explaining procedures and treatment plans to patients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout their healing journey.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress within the clinic's management software.

Your role will involve working closely with patients of various backgrounds, understanding their unique health challenges, and providing compassionate care tailored to their individual circumstances.

• Previous experience of at least 3 years in acupuncture practice, with a solid understanding of differential diagnosis and treatment approaches.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required to ensure a foundational knowledge of healthcare practices.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with patients and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• A team-oriented demeanor, with a willingness to contribute positively to a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage appointments and patient information efficiently.

• Continuing Education Units (CEUs) related to sports medicine acupuncture or trigger point acupuncture certification is highly regarded.
• Experience or additional certifications in specialized areas of acupuncture practice will be considered advantageous.
• Familiarity with medical billing and insurance processes to assist patients in navigating their health coverage options.
