Position: Basil Ford Pro Elite Automotive Technician/Mechanic
Location: Basil Ford Pro Elite Commercial Service Center, 1540 Walden Ave, Cheektowaga, NY 14225
Automotive Technician/Mechanic Compensation: Between $80,000 and $160,000 Annually (Based on knowledge, experience, store franchise, and volume)
Schedule: Full Time
Automotive Technician/Mechanic Job Duties:
  • Perform in depth diagnostics using Ford factory tools
  • Diagnose and repair issues with engines, transmissions, brakes, HVAC, electrical, and advanced driver-assistance systems
  • Work on Ford commercial vehicles like Transit, Super Duty, E-Series, F-Series
  • Service high-mileage heavy duty vehicles used in fleet operations
  • Handle upfitted vehicles with special equipment
  • Maintain uptime and quick turnaround for customers
  • Perform thorough vehicle inspections, fluid changes, tire rotations, brake checks
  • Ensure vehicles meet DOT requirement
  • Utilize factory tools and service information resources
  • Perform software updates and calibrations

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Ford STS or pro level certification
  • Pro Elite Status
  • ASE certifications
  • 3-5 years working on Ford vehicles
  • Experience in diesel and gas engine repairs, especially on commercial vehicles
  • Advanced knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, diesel engines, hybrid systems and commercial chassis
  • Proficiency in using scan tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Willingness to continue ongoing Ford training

Must have basic tools
Must have valid NYS driver's license
Must have valid NYS Inspectors License
