Job Description

As an Elite Security Officer Armed - Patrol Driver Operations in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Texas Level III Armed Certification. Deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal's caring, agile, reliable, and innovative approach.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, customers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, parking lots, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Maintain required documentation, including incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity reports, while communicating with site management and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
