Job description

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is 420 bed teaching hospital, trauma center, neonatal intensive care unit, geriatrics center, and is home to the Johns Hopkins Burn Center, the only adult burn trauma in Maryland. The Department of Imaging and Imaging Sciences at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center includes over 25 Johns Hopkins School of Medicine specialized radiologists who perform more than 130,000 exams and procedures annually. The department serves our patients and our East Baltimore community, as well as national and international referrals.

Our department is equipped with the latest equipment and utilizes innovative technology and imaging techniques. We offer a wide spectrum of imaging services including diagnostic, ultrasound, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine exams as well as interventional procedures. We are committed to enhance our trainee’s education and improve patient outcomes.

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is searching for a full-time Neuro and Body Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our elite Radiology Team. As an IR Tech, you will perform invasive radiology procedures in both Neuro and Body.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or a closely related field
  • Six months of previous diagnostic experience (clinical are acceptable)
  • Radiology licensure from the Maryland Board of Physician Quality Assurance
  • Certified by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Valid CPR card
  • New grads are encouraged to apply

Shift:

Full Time (40 hours)

Day Shift; 7:00am - 5:30pm

4 – 10 hour shifts

Rotating on-call days per week

Weekend and holiday on-call rotating

Salary Range: Minimum 42.33/hour - Maximum 69.88/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
