Description:

Southeast Elevator is seeking an experienced Residential Elevator Mechanic with exceptional mechanical skills, professional interpersonal communication, and a can-do attitude to join our installation team. Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills are a must, as the ideal candidate will be able to utilize their troubleshooting & diagnostic abilities in order to install various types of elevators & lifts.

This role will service our Tampa, Florida market.


What You’ll Do

  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent mechanical and electronic skills
  • Strong appetite for learning and professional development
  • Familiarity with common hand and power tools
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% (most work is within Tampa, FL, but occasional week-long overnight travel may occur)
  • Ability to lift up to 150 lbs.
  • Familiarity with electronic, electro-mechanical, and fluid-powered (hydraulic) systems
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record


Requirements:

  • Install residential elevators and wheelchair lifts
  • Work as a team of two installers on job sites
  • Learn & teach new team members
  • Multi-task with patience and diligence
  • Demonstrate and maintain a clean driving record
  • Safety awareness & compliance
  • Develop safety code and regulatory knowledge
  • Operate general computer equipment/devices
  • Interface with general contractors and customers directly
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Certified Elevator Technician or Elevator Mechanic License, preferred
