Compensation: At the appropriate step on the Teachers' Salary Schedule
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Valid Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate, required
  • Knowledge of elementary student expectations including academic, social, emotional and behavioral milestones
  • Experience or knowledge of Reading, Writing and Math Workshop models
  • Experience utilizing student data to drive instruction in all subject areas
  • Strong commitment to educating students
  • Ability to create lesson plans and implement instructional strategies to address the needs of students in various classroom settings
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to schedule changes
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues, administrators, students and parents
  • Proficiency in Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc.) and online sourcing tools with functional knowledge of internet use for search platforms
