Job description

Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting elementary students as an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time opportunity is located near Mishawaka and Elkhart, IN, and runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027. You'll make a difference in young lives, helping shape their school experience and developmental growth.
Ideal candidates possess:

  • Indiana licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans and monitor progress
  • Enthusiasm for fostering independence in students with a wide range of needs
  • Preference for onsite service delivery to ensure hands-on, interactive therapy
In this role, you will:
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary-age students, tailored to their IEPs and specific needs
  • Assess, plan, and document student progress, modifying interventions as necessary

  • Contribute professional insight during IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team consultations
