Job description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical / Electronics Design Engineer with 5–10 years of experience in product design, development, and implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in electrical hardware design, including mixed-signal, power supply, processor-based, and cable designs.

Roles and Responsibilities

*Design, develop, and implement electrical and electronic hardware for new and existing products.
*Develop mixed-signal, power supply, processor-based, and cable designs.
*Perform electrical design analysis, validation, testing, and troubleshooting.
*Evaluate electronic components and identify cost-effective alternatives to off-the-shelf components such as monitors, printers, card readers, scanners, and related peripherals.
*Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and product teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
*Support prototype development, design verification, testing, and product implementation.
*Analyze design issues and perform root cause analysis to identify and implement corrective actions.
*Apply design practices that improve product quality, reliability, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
*Contribute to Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and continuous product improvement initiatives.
*Participate in engineering documentation, design reviews, and technical problem-solving activities.

Required Qualifications

*Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
*5–10 years of experience in electrical/electronics product design, development, and implementation.
*Hands-on experience with:
*Mixed-signal circuit design
*Power supply design
*Processor-based designs
*Electrical/cable design
*Electronic component selection and evaluation
*Strong understanding of electrical and electronic hardware development processes.
*Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

*Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
*Knowledge of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
*Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE).
*Experience performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
*Experience identifying lower-cost alternatives for electronic components and peripherals.
*Strong understanding of product lifecycle, design validation, and manufacturing processes.
