Job description

Overview

VTG is seeking Electronics Technicians and Equipment Analysts to support EC kit assembly, material staging, supply support data entry, and APL/AEL verification on the AN/SQQ-89(V) USW Systems Lifecycle Support program in Hampton Roads, VA. These entry-level positions work under senior equipment specialist oversight.


What will you do?
  • Assist with EC kit assembly, labeling, and pre-installation inspection under senior oversight
  • Perform material staging and inventory verification for ship availability packages
  • Execute supply support data entry for APL/AEL verification and update
  • Support receipt inspection of electronic components and hardware kits
  • Maintain hardware tracking logs and material movement documentation
  • Assist with SID/ICD document control and filing in configuration management systems
  • Support waterfront technical assistance activities as directed by senior equipment specialists

Do you have what it takes?
  • Must have and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance
  • 0 to 5 years of electronics, maintenance, or Navy hardware experience
  • Associate's degree in electronics technology, electrical technology, or related field; or equivalent military technical training
  • Navy veteran with STG, ET, EM, or FT rating experience highly preferred
  • Familiarity with basic electronics, circuit theory, and test equipment operation
  • Ability to work in shipboard environments and pass physical requirements for shipboard access

*Position contingent upon contract award*

VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $38,000-$83,000 which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
