Job description

The electronics technician responsibilities include assembling, diagnosing, and repairing electronics, reading manuals and installing equipment, performing routine servicing and inspections, assisting and electronic upgrades, and reporting to the supervisor on production goals. The electronics technician should be able to service and manage electronic systems and equipment efficiently.

To be successful as an electronics tech, you should demonstrate strong mechanical skills and enjoy performing tasks with your hands. Outstanding electronics technicians are able to use a wide range of resources to solve problems and feel comfortable working alone and in a team.

ย QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. ย Associate degree in Electronics or Equivalent experienceย 
  2. ย Analog and Digital Electronics experienceย 
  3. Strong verbal/interpersonal skills.ย 
  4. Excellent organizational skills.ย 
  5. ย Experience in troubleshooting and repair of electronic equipment.
  6. Assembling, installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electronic components and systems.
  7. Sourcing or fabricating replacement parts for electronic systems.
  8. Ensuring all power and manual tools are operated safely.
  9. Coordinating with supervisors and team members to discuss work schedules, time, and material needs.
  10. Providing training for new technicians and apprentices.
  11. Carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing of equipment.
  12. Interpreting drawings, training manuals, and instructions in order to perform duties.
