Job description

Job Summary:
Harris Allied is a pioneering fintech startup revolutionizing the trading of global derivatives. They are seeking a QA Automation Lead to develop and implement a test automation strategy for their electronic trading platform, ensuring the quality and reliability of software releases while leading a team of test automation engineers.
Responsibilities:
• Defining the test automation vision and roadmap for the company.
• Selecting and implementing a test automation platform.
• Developing and executing automated tests for the trading system.
• Creating stability and performance testing scripts.
• Implementing test-driven development (TDD) methodologies for new features and functionalities.
• Integrating seamlessly into the software development lifecycle and contributing to the successful delivery of new features.
• Ensuring the quality, reliability, and resiliency of new software releases.
• Recruiting, training, and leading a team of test automation engineers.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of experience as a test automation engineer or a developer of tests for a leading electronic trading company.
• 5+ years of experience testing trading applications in financial markets (fixed income, equities, FX).
• 2+ years of experience leading a team of engineers.
• Hands-on scripting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology (required).
• Electronic trading experience, ideally with a global fixed income industry company.
• Strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Ability to partner across all levels of seniority including the 'C Suite'.
Preferred:
• Prior startup experience is a plus.
• Master's degree or MBA (a plus).
