Job description

Job Summary:
Societe Generale is a global investment bank and financial services company, and they are seeking a Fixed Income Electronic Trading Programmer Analyst. The role involves developing and maintaining software solutions for electronic trading, focusing on both client-side and server-side development while adhering to Agile methodologies and ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design, develop, and enhance Fixed Income electronic trading platforms supporting desks such as: US Linear Rates, US Treasuries, LATAM, FX.
โ€ข Deliver client side and server side .NET/C# components for real time trading and pricing applications.
โ€ข Collaborate closely with traders, sales, and product stakeholders to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
โ€ข Partner with senior developers and architects to propose, review, and implement scalable technical designs.
โ€ข Estimate development effort, manage priorities, and ensure timely and high quality delivery of assigned initiatives.
โ€ข Develop robust, well tested, maintainable code aligned with internal engineering standards.
โ€ข Actively follow CI/CD pipelines, release orchestration, and change management processes.
โ€ข Provide 2nd and 3rd level production support, including incident analysis and resolution in a trading time sensitive context.
โ€ข Coordinate and participate in software release rollouts and post implementation validation.
โ€ข Communicate clear status updates, risks, and dependencies to management and stakeholders.
โ€ข Collaborate effectively with infrastructure, networking, middleware, and other development teams.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s or masterโ€™s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
โ€ข Degree or coursework in Finance is a strong advantage
โ€ข Strong foundation in object-oriented design and programming principles
โ€ข Advanced proficiency in C# and .NET
โ€ข Solid understanding of design patterns, including MVVM
โ€ข Hands on experience with Git based source control
โ€ข Working knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies
โ€ข Experience with Dependency Injection and Entity Framework
โ€ข Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as TeamCity and Jenkins
โ€ข Experience with multithreaded or concurrent systems
Preferred:
โ€ข Knowledge of Fixed Income products and market structure
โ€ข Prior exposure to Electronic Trading platforms and workflows
