We are seeking a Security Project Manager that will lead a team of Security technicians and subcontractors that install ACS, IDS, CCTV, intercom and other low voltage systems for our clients in Northern Virginia.
The Project Manager will coordinate and oversee multiple project simultaneously with the help of the local engineering, sales, and technical staff. The Ideal candidate will take ownership of assigned projects and ensure robust communication with our customer and team to make sure all stakeholder expectations are met. The Project Manager will oversee day to day operations of multiple projects and report as needed job status, schedule updates, risk mitigation steps, changes, and material needs throughout the project's lifecycle. The PM will lead a team of Senior/Lead Techs, Jr Techs, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities
  • Project Management experience in an electronic security system environment
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team
  • Experience overseeing subcontractors and ensuring work is done as is expected by i2G systems and all stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills. This goes not only within the i2G team but also with our customers and subcontractors.
  • Ability to Read and understand security system drawings as well as familiarity with electrical and civil drawing packages.
  • Experience managing integration engineers that program electronic security systems including but not limited to access control systems, intrusion detection systems and CCTV systems
  • Maintain project equipment inventory, red-line drawings, and quality
  • Assist with creating proposals as needed

Qualifications
  • Previous project management in electronic security systems field
  • Working knowledge of Lenel, Verint, Axis, Commend, Fire systems, and/or DMP is a plus
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proficient with scheduling software such as MS Project, SimPro, or Smartsheets
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • 5+ Years previous experience with electronic security systems required
  • Prefer direct experience with Lenel, Axis, Software House, Verint training certifications highly desired but not required
  • Training and Certifications in the above product lines and PMP certification preferred.
