Argus Medical provides comprehensive billing and managements services which include contracting, credentialing, HR services, accounting, etc. to support Physicians in private practice.We are currently looking to hire a Payment Assistant in the city of Cypress, CA.Job Type: Full-Time, Direct HirePay: $23 per hourHours: Mon-Fri, 8:00 am - 4:30 pmPosition SummaryThe Payment Assistant supports daily payment processing operations by accurately handling incoming mail, payment batches, and documentation. This role requires a detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable individual who can manage daily tasks efficiently while supporting team needs.Job Duties Process incoming payment-related correspondence by opening, sorting, organizing, and preparing mail for daily processing. Accurately prepare and enter payment batches within CareTracker while ensuring documentation is properly scanned and maintained. Support payment operations by maintaining organized records and following established procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Provide occasional backup courier support, including transporting materials to designated locations and assisting with end-of-day processing activities. Maintain a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation to support occasional courier responsibilities. Safely handle and transport materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
