This position is ideal for candidates across a range of experience levels who are interested in growing their careers in substation design, utilities, and power delivery while supporting impactful infrastructure projects.

What Your Day Will Look Like

  • Create, update, and maintain electronic engineering drawings.
  • Use Autodesk AutoCAD and/or Bentley MicroStation/Substation to develop substation physical and protection & control drawings.
  • Work closely with engineers and other team members to develop 2D drawings for substation projects.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects and ensure drawings are completed accurately and on time.
  • Assist with substation engineering drawings including single-line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, wiring diagrams, control house layouts, and substation elevations.
  • Follow and maintain client drawing standards and project requirements.
  • Support the team with additional tasks and assist in other areas when needed.
