Job Title: Electronics Engineer Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 25% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * The Opportunity: The Electronics Engineer is responsible for a broad range of duties with a strong focus on RF test environments, electronic component characterization, and hands-on technical work related to intelligence products. Responsibilities: Conduct RF measurements using signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc. Test and characterize electrical components, including IEDs and Software Defined Radios (SDRs).

Integrate RF systems into Uncrewed Systems (Aerial, Ground, or Surface platforms). Analyze and reverse-engineer electronic circuits and components to develop device profiles. Generate schematics and design PCBs using CAD tools.

Utilize IDE software and embedded platforms like Raspberry Pi and Arduino in development. Perform soldering, reworking, and debugging of PCBs and electronic components (through-hole, surface-mount, harnesses, cables). Develop and prototype custom circuits and electronics systems.

Create technical reports and comprehensive documentation of testing, findings, and device performance. Apply a strong foundation in RF theory, practical electronics, and integrated circuit architectures to solve complex problems. Qualifications: Required: Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance 5+ years experience in a radio frequency (RF) test environment and characterizing electronic components for intelligence products and reporting.

A bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from an accredited university, or a master's degree in engineering or related field may substitute for one year of experience. Performing benchtop RF measurements using signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other equipment. Uncrewed Systems (Aerial, Vehicle, Surface, etc.) Integrated development environment software (IDE) and Raspberry Pi, Arduino devices

Testing and characterizing electrical components of IEDs and/or Software Defined Radios (SDR). Demonstrated ability to produce technical reports on findings and develop device profiles. Experience in electronic schematic generation and printed circuit board (PCB) layout.

Solid background in practical electronics and/or RF theory. Comprehensive understanding of integrated circuit architectures. Experience in reverse engineering electronic circuit boards and components.

Experience with soldering and re-working electronic circuit boards and components (e.g. through-hole, surface mount, cable assemblies, wire harnesses). Must pass a comprehensive medical assessment

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
