Job description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Journeymen Electricians in Atlanta, GA. Seeking skilled Journeyman Electricians for a contract-based role in Atlanta, GA, to support commercial electrical projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in conduit installation and the mounting and wiring of lighting systems in a professional construction environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $28 to $33 Per Hour BOE

Responsibilities:

  • Measure, bend, and install various types of electrical conduit including EMT and Rigid.
  • Install, mount, and wire a variety of indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures.
  • Pull electrical wiring through conduit runs to connect power and components.
  • Interpret electrical blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation according to plans.
  • Perform terminations and ensure all electrical connections are secure and code-compliant.
  • Adhere to all OSHA and site-specific safety regulations throughout the installation process.

Qualifications:

  • Significant professional experience as a Journeyman Electrician in commercial or industrial settings.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in bending conduit using manual or mechanical tools.
  • Experience in the installation and wiring of complex lighting systems.
  • Ability to read and accurately interpret construction blueprints and schematics.
  • Must possess all standard hand and power tools required for the electrical trade.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working at heights on ladders, scaffolding, or scissor lifts.
