Job description

Nailor Industries, Inc. is known for our industry leading customer focused approach to providing innovative commercial and industrial HVAC products. Nailor manufactures a unique and comprehensive line of products including Air Control & Distribution products, VAV Terminal Units, Green Building products, Fan Coil Units, Electric Duct Heaters, Sound Attenuators, Air Handling Units, and Filter Housings.
We are currently seeking a dependable and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments. The ideal candidate has strong experience bending conduit, pulling and terminating wire, interpreting blueprints, and working safely and efficiently in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bend, install, and secure conduit systems including EMT, IMC, and RMC
  • Run, pull, and terminate electrical wiring for power and control systems
  • Install and terminate panels, breakers, disconnects, motors, and related electrical equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform repairs as needed
  • Ensure all work complies with NEC and local electrical codes
  • Maintain a safe and organized job site
  • Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and other trades to complete projects efficiently
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively
Qualifications
  • Valid Journeyman Electrician license (required)
  • Proven experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work
  • Strong conduit bending skills using hand and hydraulic benders
  • Experience running and terminating electrical systems
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  • Knowledge of NEC codes and electrical safety practices
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Preferred Qualifications
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience with motor controls, VFDs, and PLC systems
  • Experience working in industrial facilities or large commercial projects
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
  • Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and work for extended periods
