Job description

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
  • Install and test electrical/electronic systems, circuits, and equipment.
  • Install wireways, conduits, and cable trays to adhere to NEC code and customer specifications.
  • Perform simple utility wire connections and understand electrical circuits.
  • Read blueprints and perform conduit threading.
  • Maintain and ensure tools are in good working condition.
  • Train and mentor employees on your shift.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure a safe environment.
  • Prevent workplace injuries by following safety protocols and attending safety meetings.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

YOU HAVE:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Vocational/technical degree in electricity or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of industrial or commercial electrical experience

  • Master or Journeyman Electrician License preferred.
  • Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
  • Experience with commercial and industrial equipment, MCCs, substation switchgear, and variable frequency drives.
