Journeyman Electrician
Spark Power Corp USA is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to Join our team in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area with the ability to travel as needed for work.
Our ideal Journeyman Electrician candidate will beresponsible for installation of electrical systems in accordance with current electrical codes and customer specifications, for performing jobs safely and efficiently, and for keeping customers and equipment running. Our Electricians promote a positive company image through service quality, professionalism, and a strong sense of urgency.
What will you do in this position?
  • Demonstrate your commitment to safety in the workplace and lead by example
  • Installation of electrical components; panels, wiring, junction boxes, devices, terminations, and lighting, etc.
  • Installing conduit and wire, terminating conductors
  • Troubleshooting circuitry and replacing damaged components on industrial equipment and systems
  • Ordering required parts and controlling all job materials using our computer system
  • Completing work orders as per client specifications and input; reviewing the completed job with the customer, to ensure complete satisfaction
  • Maintaining a clean work area at all times
  • Proactively preparing for upcoming work
  • Interacting with various individuals at different levels within the company

  • 5+ years of relevant electrical experience, preferably in industrial, commercial and/or institutional sectors
  • A valid state Journeyman Electrician license is preferred
  • Experience with conduit runs 1/2' - 2' (EMT,GRC,PVC Coated (Ocal) and S/S)
  • Able to troubleshoot on complex industrial installations
  • Familiarized with instrumentation and controls
  • OSHA 10 certified is a plus
  • Working knowledge of all relevant electrical code (NFPA, NEC, etc.)
  • Thorough ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
  • Excellent communication skills within team and external customers
  • Strong eye for Quality Assurance and pride in craftsmanship
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Proficiency with computer programs (Microsoft programs, email, time entry)
  • Ability to travel as needed
