Job description

Infinity Solar USA is one of the fastest-growing Solar Sales and installation companies in the US. We are seeking a qualified Electrician to assist with residential Installation projects. Professional experience is required and must be able to do electrical work in Portland Oregon.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Must be a currently licensed Electrician in Oregon.
  • Be a team player, dependable, punctual, and have good attendance.
  • Must be a good communicator - written and verbal.
  • Must be able to read site plan and single-line diagram.
  • The physical exertion will include, but will not be limited to carrying, lifting, climbing, crawling, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, and hauling. Each will be expected to lift, regularly, between 50-75 pounds. Job site conditions vary greatly.
  • Inspecting systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Resourceful solutions with a strong work ethic combined with a teamwork approach.

Day-to-Day Duties:
  • Install, retrofit, and troubleshoot residential electrical systems, including solar PV systems, panel and service replacements, branch circuits for remodeling projects, battery storage systems, and EV chargers.
  • Install wiring, circuits, and provide disconnects, and meters per NEC / OESC.
  • Install upgrades to load centers, decommission knob and tube systems, and install electrical connections to mechanical systems.
  • Supervise and train Apprentices as required.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes is a requirement.
  • Familiarity with Washington Solar Installation Specialty Code.
  • Additional responsibilities as directed.

Pay: $65.00 - $85.00 per hour / +Production Bonus*
Full benefits, medical, dental, and vision after 60 days of the start date, the company pays for 75% of employee's portion.
