  • Utilizes proper procedures with minimal supervision and can perform complex building and equipment electrical functions, including diagnosing causes of malfunctions, installation and maintenance of sophisticated systems and general electrical maintenance work.
  • Complies with all safety policies, regulations, and practices.

Has working knowledge of intricate electrical circuits and equipment and a general knowledge of mechanical equipment- Diagnoses causes of electrical failures and makes necessary repairs, including emergency repairs. Polices uses of safety devices and equipment, general housekeeping and maintains constant alert for hazardous conditions and practices.
Installs and maintains electrical equipment and wiring for plant, office, and grounds- Such as motors, transformers, switches, switch panels, breakers, safety and micro switches, programmable controllers, etc. on power presses, body makers, litho presses, etc. Installs conduit as required. Occasionally uses heavy hand tools, moves motors, and climbs ladders. Replaces burned out lights when needed. Maintains Paging System and Time Clock System. Makes necessary electrical repairs on forklift trucks. Maintains Batteries and chargers. Works inside and outside the plant.
Maintains all electrical supplies inventory- Maintains the actual inventory for which he/she is responsible and informs supervisor of needed materials
