Position: Electrical Engineer

Employment Type: Regular Full-Time

Location: Amesbury, MA

Offered Wage: $156,936.00/Year

We're looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Amesbury, Massachusetts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for component selection, creation of electrical drawings and programming of electrical control systems for pollution control and dehumidification equipment with focus on meeting customer's requirements in adherence with applicable governing regulations and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain integrity of product standardization.
  • Provide technical support for sales, manufacturing, service technicians and customers.
  • Create electrical design integration using Process Flow & Instrumentation Drawing and General Arrangement drawing.
  • Creating Wiring Diagrams, Electrical Panel Layouts, Sequence of Operations, Utilities Diagrams, PLC Ladder Logic Programs and HMI Interfacing Programs.
  • Select and perform calculations of components to meet project requirements.
  • Create electrical bill of materials and special instructions for release to manufacturing documentation.
  • Review all documentation prior to Submittal, Release and Operation Manual for accuracy.
  • Support Manufacturing during unit assembly, wiring and testing.
  • Support Service Technicians during installation and startup.
  • Adhere to Munters Quality procedures and project milestone requirements.
  • Lead electrical design improvement activities.
  • Remain current on National Electrical Code (NEC) and lead any required product changes.
  • Provide technical assistance and costing support to Sales department as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering plus five (5) years of experience in electrical controls design of industrial machinery and creating ladder logic software programs including five (5) years of experience with PLCs and HMIs; AutoCAD Electrical to develop Wiring Diagrams, Electrical Panel Layouts, and Utility Diagrams; with ERP/MRP systems.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 10% domestic and international travel.
