Reports to: Electrical Division Project Manager

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Compensation: TBD and dependent on experience


Purpose:

Millcreek Construction Group is seeking a Commercial Electrical Estimator to produce detailed material take-offs and precise cost estimations from construction drawings. Working under the direction of the Project Manager, the Estimator will analyze construction sets, specifications, and related contract documents to develop accurate project bids. The ideal candidate is conversant in technical electrical systems, highly adaptable to new technologies, and thrives in a fast-paced development environment. All work must align with project requirements, applicable electrical codes, and Millcreek’s commitment to quality.

Required Specific Skills:

· Analyze construction set drawings, scope specifications, and bid packages to produce comprehensive and accurate material and labor takeoffs.

· Utilize Trimble products, including Accubid, as well as PlanSwift for digital takeoffs and plan review.

· Demonstrate a strong understanding of technical commercial electrical systems and components.

· Partner with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to negotiate pricing and build accurate estimates.

· Maintain willingness to adapt quickly to developing software systems and evolving workflows in a fast-paced environment.

· Consistently meet strict bid deadlines while multi-tasking across multiple estimates.

· Maintain exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational habits, and absolute confidentiality.

· Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to maintain a high level of customer service.

· Able to work creatively, independently and collaboratively as a team member and be able to multi-task and prioritize projects.

· Utilize excellent oral and written communication skills to present estimates clearly to leadership and client stakeholders.
