About the Position 
 
Hourly rate of $43.02/hour.
$100 per day incentive pay Monday - Friday for fully completed shifts, $150/day on Saturdays and Sundays based on company attendance policy.
$100 per day per diem (non-taxed) for candidates with a GPS radius of 100 miles or more from the job site to the address on your current Drivers License.
Must have state Journeyman License. Will be required to reciprocate in North Dakota within 30 days of hire.
The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment at various client locations. This role involves troubleshooting electrical issues, ensuring compliance with safety and electrical codes, and performing preventive maintenance on a wide range of electrical systems in industrial, commercial, or residential settings. This position will eventually join Local IBEW Union.

Day in the Life 
 
  • Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to local and national electrical codes.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions or equipment failures on-site.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Plan layout and installation of electrical systems for construction or renovation projects.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections on electrical components and systems.
  • Test electrical systems using specialized tools (voltmeters, oscilloscopes, ammeters, etc.).
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure timely and accurate work completion.
  • Document all work performed, including repairs, replacements, and system updates.
  • Adhere to all relevant safety procedures and industry regulations.
  • Provide field reports and recommendations for system improvements or upgrades.
 
Minimum Qualifications 
 
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Trade school diploma/certification preferred
  • Minimum 1-3 years of industry experience performing work in the field setting. 
  • Ability to work as a team with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Open to learning new skills and willingly accepts feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Dedicated team player with strong customer service orientation.
  • Must pass drug screening.
  • Trade school diploma/certification preferred.
