Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle project management from pre-construction through final close-out
  • Develop and implement project work strategies and schedules
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, surveyors, and buyers
  • Plan materials procurement, delivery logistics, and storage
  • Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with safety, code, and environmental regulations
  • Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain alignment and communication
  • Oversee project billing, inspections, documentation, and final deliverables
  • Attend and lead internal and external project meetings
  • Review and interpret SOVs, phase codes, drawings, submittals, and specifications
  • Mentor and assist with onboarding new Assistant Project Managers
  • Identify and document change orders in a timely and organized manner


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in electrical construction project management preferred
  • Associate's Degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Work history on state and federal commercial electrical projects strongly preferred
  • Experience with electrical utility companies, lineman operations, and large-scale industrial/commercial projects
  • Ability to compile and present a completion list of projects managed, including scope and type of work
  • Highly organized, task-oriented, and a strong team collaborator
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and project management software
  • Experience with diverse project types (wastewater treatment, generators, utilities, etc.)
  • Familiarity with SOVs, AIA Pay Applications, specifications, change orders, and cost controls
  • NC Electrical License is a plus
  • Valid driver's license required

Schedule

  • Full-Time
  • Monday-Friday, between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
