Responsibilities

Summary of Duties: Lead electrical design projects for commercial and municipal clients including facilities assessments and with a focus on higher ed and office/municipal buildings

  • Responsibilities:
    • Lead engineer in designing, analyzing, and developing electrical systems for commercial, residential and industrial projects.
    • Collaborate with senior engineers to create electrical plans, specifications, and calculations.
    • Producing contract drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
    • Conduct field visits to record existing conditions, assess project progress, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
    • Assist in the preparation of technical reports and documentation.
    • Participate in project meetings, providing insights and recommendations to design solutions.
    • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering power design.

Qualifications
    • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
    • 5-10 years of experience.
    • Strong Understanding of electrical systems and codes
    • Proficiency in the latest version of AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft products, and electrical design tools.
    • Capability to work on multiple projects.
    • Eagerness to learn and grow within the field of electrical engineering.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
    • Ability to mentor junior level electrical engineers.
    • Ability to work independently with general instructions/guidance from project manager and produce the expected results.
    • Ability to meet strict deadlines and work well under pressure.
