The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with panel building, machine wiring, electrical assembly, and reading electrical schematics. This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment where technicians work closely with Engineering and Production teams to complete approximately 10–15 machine builds per week.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, wire, and test industrial machinery and electrical control panels according to engineering drawings and production schedules.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Perform point-to-point wiring of electrical panels and machine components.
  • Wire and troubleshoot systems operating in 240V-480V environments.
  • Build custom machinery and equipment to engineering specifications.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues during assembly and testing.
  • Verify completed assemblies meet quality and operational standards.
  • Complete manufacturing documentation and production records as required.
  • Communicate material shortages, quality concerns, and production issues to management.
  • Support inventory and material management activities when needed.
  • Train and assist new team members on assembly procedures, quality standards, and safety practices.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, drills, and other assembly equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in one or more of the following:
    • Electrical assembly
    • Control panel building
    • Machine wiring
    • Industrial maintenance
    • Industrial equipment manufacturing
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Experience performing electrical wiring and assembly work on industrial equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production environment.

Preferred

  • Experience building custom machinery or automated equipment.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing production processes and quality standards.

Work Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing facility and requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and operating production equipment throughout the workday. Employees may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, electrical equipment, and moderate industrial noise levels.
